Royal welcomed new teachers at the 2023-2024 New Teacher Academy, where they learned about what it means to be a Royal Falcon. The Department of Teaching & Learning provided attendees with opportunities to get to know each other, mentoring connections, and practical guidance on what to expect in the classroom. Attendees were introduced to the RISD Strategic Direction, which guides everything we do at Royal ISD. Duana Brashear, Royal Assistant Superintendent of Leadership and Learning, stated, "My heart is happy! Our new teachers have arrived! They started the day on campus with good things and our strategic direction!"
We are so excited to have them in the Falcon family and are looking forward to great things in the upcoming school year!
