All five Royal campuses were nominated as Capturing Kids' Hearts National Showcase Campuses!
CKH National Showcase Campus is a program that recognizes outstanding school administrators, teaching staff, and faculty for producing exemplary outcomes with the CKH process. Because of the rigor of the evaluation process, the Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase Schools award is both a high aspiration and an exemplary recognition of excellence. At Royal, we truly believe that “If you have a child’s heart, you have a child’s mind.”
The program was implemented by Royal Superintendent Rick Kershner, who had this to say about the program, “I believe in being intentional about building connections and positive relationships. CKH promotes this through the processes they teach.”
National Showcase Schools are chosen annually through a rigorous selection process that includes measuring key performance indicators, gathering campus data, and surveying staff and students. The results represent the implementation of CKH processes as well as the culture and climate on each campus. Capturing Kids’ Hearts celebrates campuses where educators are exceeding expectations and creating an environment where students feel safe, connected, and eager to learn.
Thank you to everyone who made this honor possible.
