Royal ISD is proud to announce that Phylicia Glover has been named the next Royal ISD Assistant Superintendent of Leadership and Learning.

How long have you been at Royal ISD?
6 years: RJH Assistant Principal, STEM Academy Principal, Executive Director of Teaching & Learning, and now Assistant Superintendent of Leadership and Learning.


How long have you worked in education?

How do you invest in our tomorrow and how will you continue to pursue excellence in your new role? 
Through an unwavering commitment to being instructionally driven and using data to guide our path, I invest not just in today's outcomes but in shaping a brighter tomorrow for all. As assistant superintendent, I am steadfast in my commitment to being instructionally driven. I will continue to prioritize data-informed decision-making to ensure that every action we take is aimed at enhancing the educational experience and outcomes for all students. 


How do you feel about your new opportunity at Royal ISD?
I am profoundly excited to serve Royal ISD in this new position. I look forward to continued collaboration with our dedicated educators, staff, and community to enhance the educational experience for all students and drive positive change that will benefit our entire school community.
