Royal ISD would like to congratulate Huy Mendez (RES), Jayce Baez (STEM), and Arkangel Ruedas (STEM) for their outstanding work in mathematics. These students were identified as mathematically extraordinary based on multiple data points and are eligible to apply to the National Math Stars program. This morning, Melissa Baker (Director of Advanced Academics), Ashley Cook (RES Principal), Tyson Matthews-Riggins (RES Assistant Principal), and Holly Hayes (STEM Programs Facilitator) recognized these exceptional students with medals and certificates in celebration of their math accomplishments. We wish them all the success as they complete the final round of applications to become National Math Stars!
