On April 4, a group of Royal ISD students, staff, parents, and school board members traveled to the Texas Capitol to advocate for the future of public education. Special thanks to Raise Your Hand Texas for coordinating the group's visits with the elected representatives and senators.
The group met with elected officials and staff from across the state, including those who represent the Royal ISD area. Our amazing students shared heartfelt stories about how public education has shaped their lives, and they made a BIG impact!
