Royal ISD is happy to welcome Head Football Coach/Athletic Coordinator Theadis Reagins to the Falcon family. Read on to learn more about Coach Reagins.
Prior experience:
Theadis Reagins comes to Royal High School from North Shore, where he was the Defensive Backs Coach and two-time State Champion. Prior to that, he was the Defensive Backs Coach at Lamar High School (2012-2018), Wide Receiver Coach at Bellaire High School (2011-2012), Head Football Coach at Ryan MS (2010-2011), Defensive Coordinator at Sam Houston High School (2009-20110), and Defensive Coordinator at Columbus Africentric High School (2005-2008).
Coach Reagins has tutored several defensive backs who have earned scholarships to play on the collegiate level as well as a few who currently play in the NFL, including the following:
- Holton Hill (Minneapolis Vikings)
- Grant Delpit (Cleveland Browns)
- D’Shawn Jamison (Texas Longhorns)
- Anthony Cook (Texas Longhorns)
- Upton Stout (North Texas)
Coach Reagins graduated from Sam Houston High School(HISD) and earned a football scholarship from Central State University (Ohio), where he was a member of two NAIA National Championship Teams (1992 and 1995).

1-2 goals for your first year at Royal:
- Increase the opportunities for student athletes to receive scholarships by improving GPAs.
- Make the UIL playoffs next fall.

Theadis Reagins has three beautiful children: Bobbi Reagins (daughter), Theadis Reagins Jr. (son) , and Ty Reagins (son). Coach Reagins also has his MBA degree in International Business.
