The teams from Royal High School, Royal Junior High, and Royal STEM Academy spent yesterday and today learning about the Capturing Kids' Hearts (CKY) approach, a set of culture-shifting, sustainable processes that can be used in classrooms, during staff meetings, in athletic programs, in cafeterias, on school buses, and in homes. Royal Early Childhood Center and Royal Elementary School will participate in training sessions on August 12 and 13.
Royal ISD is very excited to add CKH to its toolkit and to apply this approach across the district in the 2021-2022 school year and beyond! Thank you to ECHS seniors Alexis Ibarra and Samantha Lopez for capturing photos of each event.
