A HUGE softball shout-out and congratulations to senior Yazmin Alvarado Alvarez for being selected to the Texas High School Coaches Association All-State Academic First Team sponsored by the Texas Army National Guard! This is the fifth year in a row that a Lady Falcon Softball Team player has received an All-State Academic Award and the first time that a Lady Falcon has been selected to the First Team. To be selected to the First Team, a softball player must be a senior and her GPA must be above 3.9 along with stellar SAT/ACT scores. Yazmin's grades and test scores put her in the top 1% of all of the softball players in the state of Texas. We are so very proud of you, Yazmin!
