Royal High School Students Compete at the Educators Rising National Conference in Washington DC

Royal High School Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) goes to nationals in Washington DC!  Yazmin Alvarado, Ricardo Lopez, and Ivette Padilla recently attended the Educators Rising National Conference in Washington DC. They advanced from the regional and state levels of competition and earned their way to compete at the National level.  Yazmin and Ricardo competed in the largest event, Interactive Bulletin Board, and Ivette competed in a Non-Core Teaching Subject event. These individuals worked tirelessly and perfected their detailed projects and oral presentations for many hours over the course of the last year to prepare for nationals. This is the first year that Royal TAFE students have competed since this student-led organization began in 2020.  Mrs. Beyer, TAFE advisor and Teaching and Training Instructor at Royal, is very proud of these students' dedication and leadership skills and hopes to see more students continue in their footsteps in shaping the future of education.
