In OnRamps, collaboration is key, and vocabulary acquisition is a fundamental skill. Can we combine the two? ORCA Instructor Alicia has found a favorite way! In her "Stand Up, Hand Up" Vocabulary Attainment Activity, all students are up and engaged defining a word, giving an example, and providing misconceptions with a partner. There is music, and mingling, and learning - oh my!
