Ever wonder what teachers do on an "in-service" day while the students are away? Special days are offered throughout the year that allow teachers to come together to learn as much as possible in short bursts. Topics may include new strategies to improve lesson planning, content delivery, data analysis, and related professional practices. Learning is a life long endeavor. As the world changes, so do education, technology, and student needs. Educators must grow as well so that our students are not left behind. In-service days are just one of the many ways RISD fulfills its commitment to helping our Falcons soar!
