Royal ISD is proud to announce the name of its second elementary campus:
Royal Prairie Elementary School! 🏫
This name was selected from two committee recommendations by Royal ISD Trustees Scott Hartman, Cori Vahalik, Melissa Woods, and Traci Seward to honor Royal ISD's legacy:
🌾 Waller County’s rich history of farming and ranching, from the fertile bottomlands of the Brazos River to the expansive prairie lands.
🌾 The site’s heritage as rice fields farmed since 1898.
🌾 The preservation of the “Royal” legacy while giving a unique identity with “Prairie.”
🌾 Continuity with the naming convention of Royal Elementary #1.
