Please provide a short bio of your prior experience.
I received my bachelors and masters degrees in education from Texas A&M University. In my 15 years as an educator, I’ve taught math and science at the elementary, middle and high school levels, and served as a junior high associate principal. Physics has been one of my favorite subjects to teach. I also have 5 years experience as a special education inclusion teacher and department head.

1-2 goals you’d like to accomplish during your first year in your new role:
Maintain the designation of PLTW Distinguished School
Increase enrollment and interest in the STEM Academy, and ultimately students’ interest in STEM careers
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and our four dogs. I enjoy being outside whether it is doing yard work, fishing, or spending time at the beach or the lake.
