Welcome Royal Speech-Language Pathologist Kristen Allen

Please provide a short bio of your prior experience.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 with my bachelorโ€™s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I then moved to Virginia to complete my Masterโ€™s at Radford University, where I graduated with a degree in Speech Pathology in 2005.  I began working as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Texas Childrenโ€™s Hospital in 2005, then started contracting my speech therapy services to several local school districts.  I began contracting my services to Royal ISD in 2008. I have loved my experience as part of the Royal team and finally made the move to come on board full-time this school year!

1-2 goals youโ€™d like to accomplish during your first year in your new role:

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I have a husband, 4 kids, and a dog, so I stay busy! I also love reading and read (on average) a book each week.

I love working for Royal and I am thrilled to officially be a part of the amazing team here!
