The Katy Area Retired Educators (KARE) unit of the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA) is sponsoring a TRS Retirement Seminar on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Katy ISD Legacy Stadium Conference Room, 5100 Franz Road, Katy, TX 77493.
A knowledgeable consultant from the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) will conduct the meeting and there will be a question-and-answer period following the presentation.
This seminar is being presented as a benefit to Texas Public School District teachers and education employees, even those not planning to retire this year or in the near future. Attendance is optional. It is important to learn of retirement benefits and to prepare before officially retiring.
