Did you know that at Royal ISD we use our “Strategic Direction” as the foundation of everything we do? The Strategic Direction contains our Mission, Vision, Learner Profile, Core Beliefs, and Pillars. It was developed by the Royal District Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees.
We use a “students first” approach to ensure our students’ success and well-being. One of our Core Beliefs is “Genuine Relationships”. Pictured are Falcon Kevin Martinez and Coach Carpentier at the 2023 state cross country meet. Kevin is the first Royal XC state qualifier in 10 years. He placed in the top 50% of 150 4A runners.
The picture captures perfectly the goals of the Capturing Kids’ Hearts approach, the Learner Profile trait of grit, and the Core Belief of "Genuine Relationships". Throughout the rest of the school year, we will spotlight how Royal uses the Strategic Direction to achieve excellence.
