RJH proudly hosted a "Blue Moon Writing Contest" last week. Students competed in a science writing contest after observing the recent Blue Moon event on Monday, August 19th. Young scientist drew a photo of what they observed, conducted research on the rare blue moon, and wrote about their findings! Students in grades six through eight competed for the top prize of $50 and a runner up prize of $20.
