Starting on Monday, May 4, the BE A CHAMPION (BAC) organization is partnering with our Food Services Department and will begin distributing grab and go dinner meals at Royal Elementary School. The dinner meals can be picked up during normal meal service from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Monday through Thursday or until meals last. On Thursdays, you can pick up all breakfast and lunch meals for both Thursday and Friday and dinner meals for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
All children are eligible to participate in the free meal program. BAC meals are individually packaged, and the “Grab and Go” drive thru service does not require a family member to get out of their car.
As a reminder, if the children are not present at pick-up, parent/guardians must bring one of the following:
- Official letter / email / electronic school application
- Student report card
- Student ID card
- Attendance record with student’s name
- Birth certificate
BE A CHAMPION INC was founded in 2001 by James Hong and Jaron Barganier. BAC is a sports, education, and nutrition outreach program designed to support Houston area youth that may be in need.
