Dear Royal Parents and Students:

The end to our school year is rapidly approaching. The second semester has been wrought with many challenges including navigating COVID-19, working from home, and assisting your child(ren) with online assignments.
The final grading period and the end of the school year is this week May 21. Many students have assignments to complete before a final grade can be calculated, and the student can be promoted to the next grade level, or issued credit for a class. Students who have assignments still needing to be completed in any subject will receive an “I” on their report card indicating “incomplete”.
Students who receive an Incomplete on their report card will keep their Chromebook as needed and will have until June 1st at 3pm to have all assignments completed and submitted online. Students who do not finish their assignments by June 1st will be required to complete assignments during virtual summer school. Students who need to continue working through the summer will be able to keep their Chromebooks.
For those students who have completed their assignments, we look forward to seeing each of you this fall as we begin a new and exciting school year. For those students who need to continue working, we will continue to support you online as we have done during distance learning. Have a safe and enjoyable summer.
