This Saturday, June 6th (and every other Saturday in June) from 8 am to 12 pm (or until all boxes are distributed), the House of Help Food Pantry, in a distribution partnership with the Houston Food Bank, will be giving out food for those that need it. This will be done at the House of Help located at 716 1st Street in Hempstead, with cars entering 1st Street from the westbound lanes of Business 290. This is a drive-through food pantry. You will remain in your vehicle and open your trunk or lower your tailgate and volunteers will help load your vehicle with a box of food. There are no qualifiers to receive the food.
