Dear Falcon Community:
As we begin the summer months, I hope that you and your family are safe and healthy. The 2019-2020 school year ended much differently than we could have anticipated. We are working hard to determine how to continue to fulfill our educational mission during the 2020-2021 school year, even in the face of continued uncertainty and challenges. No matter what happens, we are committed to upholding RISD’s mission and vision. While doing so, we pledge to ensure the health and wellness of staff and students, provide excellent and equitable student learning experiences, and safely operate all of our facilities.
As we continue to prepare for the 2020-2021 school year, which is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, we are working diligently to design the Roadmap to 2020 – 2021: Reopening Royal ISD.

We would like to hear from you as we set the priorities to focus on in the weeks and months to come. To gather your feedback and set the tone for our work, we're using a tool called Thoughtexchange. All of our voices matter, so your participation is crucial and valued.
