Getting to Know New RISD Board Member Adrian Rocha

Royal ISD is happy to welcome Adrian Rocha as Royal  School Board Member, Position 1 as we say goodbye to Joseph Campos and thank him for his service to Royal.

Please provide a short bio of your prior experience.
11 years in Education. Royal ISD graduate of 2005, Texas State University- San Marcos graduate 2010, Capitol City Baptist Bible College- Austin, TX graduate 2010 Lamar University graduate M.Ed. 2020. Born in Houston, TX, but raised in Brookshire, TX. I am Mexican-American. I started my career at Royal Elementary School in 2010 and taught/coached in Royal ISD for 4 years, taught/coached in Sealy ISD for 6 years, and taught/coached at Holy Rosary Catholic School, Rosenberg TX for 1 year. I started my 12th year in education this year in Katy ISD at  teaching/coaching at Haskett Junior High.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? 
Run, spend time with family and friends

  • Communicate to the community about the Amazing things going on at Royal ISD
  • To show the community and others that a Royal Alumni can succeed!

  • I believe that education matters and that my passion for education grows every day! 
  • I speak two languages, Spanish being my first language!
