I am super excited about the 2022-2023 school year and all the wonders that it beholds. I am extremely passionate about teaching and learning. My focus is always on growing all learners. I am proud to say that I am entering my twenty-fifth year in education. My experiences include teaching in elementary school, junior high, high school, and at the college level. I am a former Reading Interventionist, ELA Instructional Specialist, Assistant Principal, and Principal. I attended Prairie View A&M University ("You Know") and Texas Wesleyan University. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies as well as two Masters Degrees in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Leadership. My husband and I are both natives of Waller County and Hempstead High School graduates. We have two daughters and a grandson. I am looking forward to working with each of you this year!!
